Hi Father,
Today was WET.
John and I walked through endless fields of mud with incessant rain pouring down for about 3 hours. Luckily, the rain died out and after a couple of coffees and some hot soup we resumed the walk with renewed good spirits.
We are a currently a few miles east of Carlisle. Our aim tomorrow is to complete 12.5 miles which will land us within striking distance of the finish line at Bowness on Solway which we'll reach on Saturday.
Spirits are high, donations are rolling in!
