Fatima Morning Offering

O JESUS, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings, all that this day may bring, be they good or bad: for the love of God, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for all the sins committed against Thy Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Rosary in Latin

PATER NOSTER qui es in coelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum, adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua, sicut in coelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris, et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo.  Amen.

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae.  Amen.

GLORIA PATRI, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto,
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Salve Regina

SALVE REGINA Mater misericordiae,
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra, salve.
Ad te clamamus, exsules filii Hevae;
Ad te suspiramus gementes et flentes in hac lacrimarum valle.
Eia ergo advocata nostra, illos tuos misericordes oculos ad nos converte.
Et Jesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui, nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.
O Clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.

Memorare

REMEMBER, o most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come; before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph

TO THEE, O BLESSED JOSEPH, we fly in our tribulation and, after imploring the help of thy Holy Spouse, with confidence we ask also for thy intercession.

By the affection which united thee to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by the paternal love with which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus, we beseech thee to look kindly upon the inheritance which Jesus Christ acquired by His Precious Blood, and by thy powerful aid to help us in our needs. Protect, most careful guardian of the Holy Family, the chosen people of Jesus Christ.

Keep us, loving father, from all pestilence of error and corruption. From thy place in heaven be thou mercifully with us, most powerful protector, in this warfare with the powers of darkness; and, as thou didst once rescue the child Jesus from imminent danger of death, so now defend the Church of God from all the snares of the enemy and from all adversity. Guard each of us by thy constant patronage, so that, sustained by thy example and help, we may live a holy life, die a holy death, and obtain the everlasting happiness of heaven. Amen.

Prayer For Vocations

O GOD who didst teach our Martrys to die for the world Thy Son redeemed, pour forth, we beseech Thee, Thy Holy Spirit upon our families, that by the merits and intercession of the forty Martyrs, vocations to the priesthood and the religious life may be multiplied in our country. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayers for England.

O BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, Mother of God and our most gentle Queen and Mother, look down in mercy upon England, thy Dowry, and upon us all who greatly hope and trust in thee.   By thee it was that Jesus, Our Saviour and Our Hope, was given unto the world; and He has given thee to us that we may hope still more.   Plead for us thy children, whom thou didst receive and accept at the foot of the Cross, O sorrowful Mother.   Intercede for our separated brethren, that with us in the one true Fold, they may be united to the Chief Shepherd, the Vicar of thy Son.   Pray for us all, dear Mother, that by Faith fruitful in good works, we may all deserve to see and praise God, together with thee, in our heavenly home. Amen.     (Cardinal Wiseman)

SACRED HEART OF JESUS, burning with love for men, grant that by our prayers, words and example we may help to bring all men to Thee.   Holy Mary, Mother of God teach us to be apostles of Thy Son.

Ave Maris Stella

AVE MARIS STELLA,
Dei Mater alma,
Atque semper Virgo,
Felix coeli porta.

Sumens illud Ave
Gabrielis ore,
Funda nos in pace,
Mutans Hevae nomen.

Solve vincla reis,
Profer lumen cæcis,
Mala nostra pelle,
Bona cuncta posce.

Monstra te esse matrem,
Sumat per te preces,
Qui pro nobis natus
Tulit esse tuus.

Virgo singularis,
Inter omnes mitis,
Nos culpis solutos
Mites fac et castos.

Vitam præsta puram,
Iter para tutum,
Ut videntes Jesum,
Semper collætemur.

Sit laus Deo Patri,
Summo Christo decus,
Spiritui sancto,
Tribus honor unus.
Amen.

Stabat Mater

Stabat Mater dolorosa
Juxta crucem lacrymosa,
Dum pendebat Filius.

2) Cujus animam gementem,
Contristatem, et dolentem,
Pertransivit gladius.

3) O quam tristis et afflicta
Fuit illa benedicta
Mater Unigeniti !

4) Quae maerebat, et dolebat,
Pia Mater, dum videbat
Nati poenas inclyti.

5) Quis est homo, qui non fleret,
Matrem Christi si videret
In tanto supplicio ?

6) Quis non posset contristari,
Christi Matrem contemplari
Dolentem cum Filio ?

7) Pro peccatis suae gentis,
Vidit Jesum in tormentis,
Et flagellis subditum.

8) Vidit suum dulcem Natum
Moriendo desolatum,
Dum emisit spiritum.

9) Eia, Mater, fons amoris,
Me sentire vim doloris
Fac, ut tecum lugeam.

10) Fac, ut ardeat cor meum
In amando Christum Deum,
Ut sibi complaceam.

11) Sancta Mater, istud agas,
Crucifixi fige plagas
Corde meo valide.

12) Tui Nati vulnerati,
Tam dignati pro me pati,
Poenas mecum divide.

13) Fac me tecum pie flere,
Crucifixo condolere,
Donec ego vixero.

14) Juxta crucem tecum stare,
Et me tibi sociare,
In planctu desidero.

15) Virgo virginum praeclara,
Mihi jam non sis amara,
Fac me tecum plangere.

16) Fac ut portem Christi mortem,
Passionis fac consortem,
Et plagas recolere.

17) Fac me plagis vulnerari,
Fac me cruci inebriari,
Et cruore Filii.

18) Flammis ne urar succensus,
Per te, Virgo, sim defensus
In die judicii.

19) Christe, cum sit hinc exire,
Da per Matrem me venire
Ad palmam victoriae.

20) Quando corpus morietur,
Fac ut animae donetur
Paradisi gloria.  Amen.

Daily, daily, sing to Mary

Daily, daily, sing to Mary,
Sing my soul her praises due,
All her feasts, her actions worship,
With the heart's devotion true.

Lost in wondr'ing contemplation
Be her majesty confess'd;
Call her Mother, call her Virgin,
Happy Mother, Virgin blest.

She is mighty to deliver;
Call her, trust her lovingly,
When the tempest rages round thee,
She will calm the troubled sea.

Gifts of Heaven, she has given,
Noble lady, to our race,
S
he the Queen who decks her subjects,
With the light of God's own grace.

Sing my tongue the Virgin's trophies,
Who for us her Maker bore;
For the curse of old inflicted,
Peace and blessings to restore,

Sing in songs of praise unending,
Sing the world's majestic Queen,
Weary not, nor faint in telling,
All the gifts she gives to men.

All my senses, heart, affections,
Strive to show her glory forth;
Spread abroad the sweet memorials,
Of the Virgin's priceless worth,

Where the voice of music thrilling,
Where the tongue of eloquence
That can utter hymns beseeming,
All her matchless excellence?

All our joys do come from Mary,
All then join her praise to sing;
T
rembling sing the Virgin Mother,
Mother of our Lord and King.

While we sing her awful glory,
Far above our fancy's reach,
Let our hearts be quick to offer,
Love the heart alone can teach.

O Jesu, Vivens in Maria

By a rescript of October 14 1859 His Holiness Pope Pius IX granted - 300 DAYS'  INDULGENCE to all the faithful who with contrite heart and with devotion shall say the following prayer:

O Jesu, vivens in Maria, veni et vive in famulis tuis, in Spiritus sanctitatis tuae, in plenitudine virtutis tuae, in veritate virtutum tuarum, in perfectione viarum tuarum, in communione mysteriorum tuorum, dominare omni adversae potestate in Spiritu tuo ad gloriam Patris.  Amen.

O Jesus, who dost live in Mary, come and live in Thy servants, in the spirit of Thine own holiness, in the fulness of Thy power, in the reality of Thy virtues, in the perfection of Thy ways, in the communion of Thy mysteries, - have Thou dominion over every adverse power, in Thine own Spirit, to the glory of Thy Father.  Amen.

Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O sweetest Jesus, whose overflowing charity towards men is most ungratefully repaid by such great forgetfulness, neglect and contempt, see, prostrate before Thy altars, we strive by special honour to make amends for the wicked coldness of men and the contumely with which Thy most loving Heart is everywhere treated.

At the same time, mindful of the fact that we too have sometimes not been free from unworthiness, and moved therefore with most vehement sorrow, in the first place we implore Thy mercy on us, being prepared by voluntary expiation to make amends for the sins we have ourselves committed, and also for the sins of those who wander far from the way of salvation, whether because, being obstinate in their unbelief, they refuse to follow Thee as their shepherd and leader, or because, spurning the promises of their Baptism, they have cast off the most sweet yoke of Thy law. We now endeavour to expiate all these lamentable crimes together, and it is also our purpose to make amends for each one of them severally: for the want of modesty in life and dress, for impurities, for so many snares set for the minds of the innocent, for the violation of feast days, for the horrid blasphemies against Thee and Thy saints, for the insults offered to Thy Vicar and to the priestly order, for the neglect of the Sacrament of Divine love or its profanation by horrible sacrileges, and lastly for the public sins of nations which resist the rights and the teaching authority of the Church which Thou hast instituted. Would that we could wash away these crimes with our own blood! And now, to make amends for the outrage offered to the Divine honour, we offer to Thee the same satisfaction which Thou didst once offer to Thy Father on the Cross and which Thou dost continually renew on our altars, we offer this conjoined with the expiations of the Virgin Mother and of all the Saints, and of all pious Christians, promising from our heart that so far as in us lies, with the help of Thy grace, we will make amends for our own past sins, and for the sins of others, and for the neglect of Thy boundless love, by firm faith, by a pure way of life, and by a perfect observance of the Gospel law, especially that of charity; we will also strive with all our strength to prevent injuries being offered to Thee, and gather as many as we can to become Thy followers. Receive, we beseech Thee, O most benign Jesus, by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Reparatrix, the voluntary homage of this expiation, and vouchsafe, by that great gift of final perseverance, to keep us most faithful until death in our duty and in Thy service, so that at length we may all come to that fatherland, where Thou with the Father and the Holy Ghost livest and reignest God for ever and ever. Amen.
