The camp will take place at St. Michael’s School this year and the programme will include games, learning outdoor and 'life' skills, campfires, crafts, treasure hunts and a day trip to a great location. There will be daily mass, rosary and catechism with a view to inspiring the girls in their faith while enjoying a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere.
In these times it's so important for us to have Catholic friends and, with families being spread across the country, children don't always have the benefit of knowing other Catholics of their own age. This is a great opportunity for new and maybe lifelong friendships to be made, and for your daughter to have a wealth of extra graces bestowed on her at the same time!
St. Michael’s School is situated in the beautiful countryside of North Hampshire in the rural village of Burghclere, about four miles from Newbury, Berkshire. The school property extends over more than ten acres of land, which includes open fields and woods in addition to the school and chapel grounds, recreation areas and sports fields. The address is Harts Lane, Burghclere RG20 9JW.
Additional information about the camp and a recommended kit list will be emailed, closer to the time, to those signed up.
There are various options available for girls who wish to attend. You can choose to travel to the school each day or stay overnight as a Boarder. You can choose to attend the Camp for the entire 6 days or on selected days.
