The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham was one of the most important Marion shrines in medieval Christendom. It was destroyed by Henry VIII during the Reformation, but still draws Catholic pilgrims. Every year the Society of St. Pius X makes a short 1 mile pilgrimage from the Slipper Chapel to the Abbey ruins. We pray for vocations and the conversion of England.
